Who ever thought a scarf could be worn during Spring? I sure didn’t.

It wasn’t until I started noticing when I was shopping that scarves were still being sold… and people were buying them!

Urban Outfitters is just one of the many stores that have started selling light weight scarves in pretty spring colors and prints. Perfect for anyone who wants to add a pop of color to their look. Scarves add a more laid back look to any outfit. Tie them in a knot to lengthen the scarf altogether or wrap it around your neck so shorten it and emphasize on fringe details.

April Showers Bring…Rain Boots!

It wasn’t until yesterday’s torrential downpour that I suddenly realized, I have blogged about every other Spring fashion trend and forgot about April’s must-have weather staple!

I will be the first to admit, I never liked rain boots. I didn’t like how they felt, they weren’t warm and my pants always got in a bunch when I wore them. It wasn’t until last year when I was in Nordstrom’s and realized, there are cute rain boots out there. Who knew rubber could be so stylish?

And soon to my surprise, I wasn’t the only one investing in rain boots. As it has been raining the last couple of days, I have noticed a number of girls on campus wearing rain boots of all different colors and styles. Stay smart weather savvy and stylish with bright colors, fun prints and classic patterns!

Yesterday on my day trip to Washington, D.C., I took a break from the educational museum and headed over with a friend to Urban Outfitters.

I want everything in the store.

Unfortunately, that’s not possible. But I did notice an up and coming trend for Spring. Full skirts are a perfect addition to anyone’s wardrobe.

It’s an Addiction

Everyone has a fetish. Whether it involves watching a favorite television show or following a favorite football team, we all have some guilty pleasures. My guilty pleasure is quite costly. Others may argue it’s a little ridiculous and not worth all the money I spend, but I have to admit–those reasons don’t stop me.

I was born with a disease. I am a shopping addict. I love designer clothes, I love shoes, I love accessories and I LOVE handbags. Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs–you name it, I own it. Shopping is my hobby, styling is my niche and spending money is therapeutic. While I wish I could control this addiction, there are some diseases that just cannot be cured–and I’m OK with that.

Needless to say, consider this blog my second form of therapy. A chance to share with those who share my obsession and maybe, a chance for those who don’t get to see the real effects of a shopping addiction.
